Messages from behind the veil - Listening to Spirit 01

In this series of posts "Listening to Spirit" I will include experiences of moments where I have spoken to spirit, heard messages, or picked up on the signs by the universe to help guide me on my path. As you read my experiences I hope it may help you decipher your own messages from spirit to help you on your path.



01.

Last night I had a reminder. My brother were not very close. We have a 14 year age gap. We live in different countries. Apart from the occasional Facebook like, we don't ring and have conversations unless we see each other which can be years apart.


But last night he uploaded a selfie. I had heard from our mum he was on holidays. But as soon as I saw that photo, my chest hurt. Then the message came through to me.


"He lied, he's heart is playing up, he's getting heart surgery and he didnt tell your mum because he doesn't want her to worry but he should have told you!"


Who was the voice? A woman, I didn't see her form, I just heard the voice and she sounded a little pissed off! So by chance he was online, I asked if he was ok...has he had heart problems? First denial, avoidance, talking about holidays. So I said oh well, I don't know why I got that message.


"From who?", he asked...."from the 'universe?". Yep I answered. My family isn't religious, and as I said, my brother and I aren't close, over 15 years ago we had a brief moment when a conversation came up about seeing ghosts and communicating with spirits which he said he had. In that moment we realised even though we wern't brought up with the belief in communicating with spirits, and our mother was quite against the idea, both of us on our own journey had realised we had the gift. The conversation pretty much ended that night until now.


Finally he responded: "Then I better tell you...yes I'm having surgery on my heart but it's fine I didn't want mum to worry."

Then the Aha moment! I was right! My connection to spirit was accurate! He also had an understanding that if spirit reached out to me then it was important for him to come clean. My brother was fine, all went well and he sent me a pic in recovery. ♡


The lesson in this wasn't a warning of danger,  but more of a trigger of awareness. A lesson for him, that withholding or lying to protect others isn't the best method! It's also a lesson on opening up embracing support around you, despite how independent you feel you need to be, sometimes letting people in is a good thing even if it is just so they can text to see how you are.
